Black Friday Golf Club Deals 2026: Drivers, Irons, Putters & Prior-Gen Price Drops

Published: October 27, 2026 · Last updated: October 28, 2026

Quick answer

Black Friday 2026 is on 27 November. As of 27 October 2026, none of the club makers in this guide has published Black Friday 2026 pricing. In the clubs we cover, the clearest price drops followed a successor launch: PING cut G440 driver prices to $449 from a $599.99 launch (MyGolfSpy), and the 2024 Cobra Darkspeed X, which launched at $549.99, sells pre-owned from about $253 (2nd Swing). This guide tracks October 2026 baseline prices for 17 drivers, irons, putters and wedges from our reviews and marks each promotion as not yet announced until a brand or authorized retailer publishes it.

Prices verified: October 2026. Driver, iron and putter prices were checked on 24 October 2026 against the source named in each row; promotion status was checked on 27 October 2026. XS Golf did not physically test these clubs; this guide is a synthesis of manufacturer information, retailer prices and published reporting.

How Club Release Cycles Shape Black Friday Prices

Club prices move most when a successor arrives. Among the clubs covered here, Cobra announced its DS-ADAPT drivers in December 2024 as the successor to the 2024 Darkspeed family, Callaway followed the 2024 Paradym Ai Smoke drivers with its Elyte drivers in 2025 (MyGolfSpy), and TaylorMade launched the Qi4D family in January 2026, replacing the Qi35 (Today’s Golfer). TaylorMade released the current P790 irons in February 2025 (Golfalot).

Once the new model is on sale, the outgoing one is the usual candidate for a lower price. PING’s cut to $449 on the G440 drivers (MyGolfSpy) is the clearest example in our coverage; pre-owned listings, such as the Darkspeed X from about $253 at 2nd Swing, show the floor for an older head.

Some brands also set a minimum advertised price (MAP): the lowest price an authorized retailer may display, even when the checkout price differs. Club makers rarely publish these policies, so which models are covered is not confirmed here (N/C). A November discount on a current-season club is therefore harder to predict than a lower price on a prior-generation one.

How to Judge a Holiday Club Price

  • Check the generation first: a lower price on a model whose successor has launched is a different offer from a discount on the current season’s club.
  • Compare against pre-owned: for prior-generation drivers, 2nd Swing listings such as the Darkspeed X from about $253 show where the used market sits.
  • Match the specification: loft, shaft, length and lie decide whether a stock club suits you, whatever the price. Whether a promotion covers custom builds is brand-specific and not confirmed here.
  • Compare like for like on iron sets: the number of clubs in the set changes the price.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do golf club prices usually drop?

In the clubs covered in this guide, the clearest price drops followed a successor launch. PING cut G440 driver prices to $449 from a $599.99 launch, according to MyGolfSpy. The 2024 Cobra Darkspeed X launched at $549.99 and sells pre-owned from about $253 at 2nd Swing.

Are prior-generation drivers worth buying on Black Friday?

They can cost less than the current model. Whether one suits you depends on loft, shaft and fit rather than release year, so compare the holiday price with the current pre-owned price and with the October 2026 baselines in the tables above.

What is MAP pricing on golf clubs?

A minimum advertised price is the lowest price a brand lets authorized retailers display. Club makers rarely publish these policies, so which models they cover is not confirmed here. The checkout price can differ from the displayed price.

Which putters in this guide have a confirmed price?

The Cleveland HB SOFT 2 lists at $149.99, retailers list the TaylorMade Spider Tour X at $349.99, and the Ping Anser 2 sells for about $217 to $227 at Golf Discount. Prices for the Odyssey Ai-One Cruiser and the Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5 are not confirmed.

When will Black Friday 2026 golf club prices be confirmed?

Black Friday 2026 is on 27 November. This guide lists October 2026 baseline prices and marks each promotion as not yet announced until the brand or an authorized retailer publishes it.

How We Compiled This Guide

XS Golf did not physically test these clubs. Baseline prices are the figures already checked in our individual club reviews, each against the manufacturer, retailer or publication named in the table. Lineup and release dates are cited to the publication that reported them, and any figure we could not confirm is marked N/C. How we work is set out on our Standards page.
